Episode 94 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Hong Chen's Sneak Attack Exposes a Secret

Xiao Yan crushes Hong Chen, who had been sneaking up on him. The fight reveals that Xiao Yan learned the three thousand thunderbolt technique from Fenglei Pavilion, and that makes him a problem for the pavilion. Shen Yun, the Fenglei North Pavilion elder, decides to capture him and bring him back for interrogation. The pavilion's pursuit is now personal, and it sets the stage for the Hong family to join in.

Shen Yun and the Hong Family Close the Trap

Xiao Yan uses an earth demon puppet to block Shen Yun's attack, and Shen Yun cannot finish him with a single blow. Shen Yun then teams up with Hong Li, the head of the Hong family, and Hong Tianxiao, the Hong family ancestor, to surround Xiao Yan. Xiao Yan tries to bargain for his release and asks the Hong family to pay a large sum. Hong Tianxiao sees through the stalling and threatens to crush every bone in his body if he does not stop.

The Soul Mark Breaks and Xiao Yan Escapes

Hong Tianxiao had left a soul imprint on a ring, and he is shocked to find it broken by Xiao Yan. He had believed the imprint was strong enough to hold, and the Hong family ancestor now swears he will kill Xiao Yan. He also claims the blood and lightning mark he left on Xiao Yan's body will let him track the young man. Xiao Yan slips away, and the Hong family's pride takes another hit.

Hidden in the Thunder Pool

Deep in the mountains, Xiao Yan finds a thunder pool with strange symbols carved around it. They turn out to be part of the Three Thousand Thunder Ghosts technique, which can condense thunder into a clone with nearly the same strength as the main body. Its power is compared to a heaven-grade fighting skill, and the full method is kept apart by Fenglei Pavilion. Xiao Yan studies the fragment, aware that the pavilion may be closing in.

Two Dou Zong Elders Track Him Down

Shen Yun and two Dou Zong elders reach the mountain range, convinced that Xiao Yan is hiding there. A Han family member admits they can only help Xiao Yan in secret, since the family cannot offend a power like Fenglei Pavilion. Xiao Yan is pushed to his limit as the elders attack, and one of them threatens self-destruction to take him down. The Fenglei Beige faction refuses to sit by while elders are killed, which brings a new force into the fight.
