Episode 184 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

East Dragon Island Under Siege

The once proud East Dragon Island has been reduced to ruins, with corpses across the ground while soldiers from the three Dragon Islands still press the islanders. Zi Yan fights the three Dragon Kings alone, using the power of her Dragon Emperor bloodline. The Dragon Kings then reveal their ruthless plan: they use the lives of four clans on the island as bargaining chips. Zi Yan has to split her power to protect them, and that gap lets the Dragon Kings overwhelm her.

Xiao Yan Saves Zi Yan

In the crisis, Xiao Yan arrives and saves her. The Dragon Emperor's divine wrath strikes and injures the souls of the three Dragon Kings, and they respond by attacking his body with fire lotus. Forced to reveal their true forms, the enraged Dragon Kings fight on, and each of them is at the three-star Dou Sheng level. Xiao Yan refuses to back down, and the fight grows more dangerous as the Dragon Kings threaten to finish him off.

The Dragon Slayer Sword Ends the Revolt

Zi Yan summons the Dragon Slayer Sword, a moment that stuns the Dragon Kings and their followers. Her soldiers take it as proof that she is the true Dragon Emperor, and many of the rebels begin to flee. The Western and Southern Dragon Kings are badly crippled, and the Northern Dragon King is left alone. The sword drains Zi Yan's life force, but the internal strife of the Taixu Ancient Dragon Clan is declared over.

Aftermath, and Three Months Later

Elder Qingshan reports that East Dragon Island is safe, although many of the ancient dragon clan members who fled have left a gap behind. Zi Yan orders the members who stayed to be taken in, with a close watch for spies from Mishima. Three months pass while Xiao Yan remains in seclusion, and when he emerges he has advanced to Two-Star Dou Sheng. Word then arrives from the old master of medicine: the Pure Lotus Demon Flame is about to be born, and the Soul Hall has made big moves. Xiao Yan and his companions head back to Xingyun Pavilion to plan against the Soul Palace.
