Episode 61 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Xiao Yan Passes Through the Fire Seal

After the fall of the Yunlan Clan, Xiao Yan passes through the fire seal left by Yao Lao and confirms that his teacher, captured by the Wild Bird Guard, is still alive. He wants to save his father and teacher and protect the Xiao family. The suggestion from his big brother and Mr. Hai pushes him to form a force that can compete with the Soul Hall. He knows every Soul Hall guard has Dou Zong strength, so he must first reach the peak of Dou Huang and beyond.

Xun'er's Warning and a Quiet Goodbye

Xun'er had told him not to look for her until he is strong enough to protect the people he cares about. Yun Yun prepares to leave the Jia Ma Empire, and the subtitles frame their meeting as a final goodbye. Both understand they must return to their own lives, and the moment closes a chapter that began in the Mountain of Warcraft.

Xiao House Guards and the Longevity Pill

The guards trained by his second brother hold the Xiao House so well that ordinary experts struggle to sneak in. When Xiao Yan arrives, he is given a Green Nether Longevity Pill, which can temporarily keep the Life Devouring Pill from interfering. Without a breakthrough to Dou Huang within ten years, the pill's side effects cannot be fully removed, which raises the pressure on his next steps.

The Alliance Takes Shape

The next day, Xiao Yan invites President Fa Ma and the heads of several families to the Xiao House, and Elder Jia also attends. Xiao Yan lays out his plan for a stronger force, and some guests worry it will look like the Misty Cloud Sect or give him control of the empire. Still, the Mu family and the Nalan family agree to join. Xiao Yan proposes an Elders Courtyard as the highest decision-making body, with founders holding seats.

The Alchemist Association's Condition

President Fa Ma explains that the Alchemist Association cannot bind independent alchemists, so the guild cannot commit as one body. His condition is that the Alliance develops ten fifth-grade alchemists within ten years. Xiao Yan says he began working with alchemists seven years ago and has already reached sixth grade. Elder Jia then asks whether the royal family can join, and Xiao Yan welcomes it, with the alliance named the Flame Alliance.

Pills, a Toast and Trouble in Qingshan Town

Xiao Yan rewards the allies with Soul Fighting Pills and promises three Huangji Pills within half a month. The mood turns in Qingshan Town, where a mercenary fight leaves the Snake Nest Mercenaries wiped out, and the subtitles reveal the He family stood behind them. A young man steps in to protect a woman named Miss Ling'er, and the episode ends with a question about whether he is Brother Xiao Yan.
