Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Scattered Across the Demon Flame Space

Xiao Yan and his companions enter the Demon Flame Space, a realm of recently ignited demonic flames. They are randomly teleported to different parts of the space, and a strange army of self-destructing fire slaves appears. Gunpowder smoke resists the flames, and the group manages to break free of the illusions that try to trap their minds before reuniting.

The Xiao Clan Survivor

Forced into the main hall, Xiao Yan finds a senior who turns out to be a member of the Xiao clan and a cousin of Xiao Xuan. The senior explains that the Xiao clan no longer exists. Xiao Xuan's Immortal Clan gathered most of the clan's bloodline power for a risky push, but it failed, and the Soul Clan seized the moment to launch a sneak attack that killed nearly everyone. The senior survives only as a soul preserved in the Heavenly Eye, and he passes the last remaining bloodline power to Xiao Yan, asking him to help revive the clan.

The Demonic Tiger and the Nightmare Dance

The deeper the group goes, the stronger the fire slaves become, and a powerful demonic tiger appears. It claims the group will become its fire slaves and boasts about its collection of powerful figures. The tiger creates an illusion so real that the group struggles to tell reality from dream, a Nightmare Heavenly Dance that once belonged to the Pure Spirit Demon Saint. Xiao Yan tears through the illusion, which breaks the chain reaction and frees the others.

An Uneasy Truce

After the illusion breaks, the demonic tiger, rated at the strength of a five-star Dou Sheng, is still a threat. It proposes that the remaining people join forces to defeat the forbidden demon fire, since no one can survive the flame alone. Xiao Yan accepts, and the group agrees that the first step is to break the ban on the demon fire before anyone can seize its source.
