Episode 69 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

A Night Raid Turns Into an Escape

The episode opens with Xiao Yan and Medusa attacking two camps at night, the Yan Golden Tribe and Mulan Valley. Xiao Yan sneaks into the Mulan Valley camp and kills its tiger leader, then urges the Mulan rulers to attack. Medusa kills Yan Fallen and comes to free him. The enemy gives chase, and the two fliers have to find a place to hide until the pursuers lose track of them. Once the danger passes, Xiao Yan checks whether Medusa is hurt.

Wild Goose Falling Sky's Flying Technique

Back in safety, Xiao Yan examines a scroll that turns out to be a secret of the Jin Yan Tribe. It describes how to build a flying combat skill using advanced materials and large wings, and it is worth far more than a beast's core. Xiao Yan plans to trade for herbs that can make the Heavenly Soul Melting Blood Pill, so he asks Cai Lin to take the scroll for safekeeping. Medusa then announces that the Gamma Empire is safe for now and that her Snake Clan must move to new territory, because her people are calling her home.

Gu He Is Pulled Into the Yan Meng Dan Hall

The alliance faces a production bottleneck. One fifth rank elite elixir takes half a month to make, and Gu He is seen as the better producer. The plan is to help him enter Danta, a respected elixir organization that requires a strong recommendation. Xiao Yan visits Gu He and invites him to join the Yan Meng Elixir Hall. Gu He refuses, then agrees to a challenge: an alchemy contest in which the loser stops bothering the winner. The subtitles do not clearly show how the contest is decided, but Gu He ends up announcing that he is now a member of the Yan Meng Dan Hall, and he is welcomed as Prince Dan.

Soul Hall Sightings and a Clash at the Alliance

Word arrives that people from Soul Hall have been spotted in another empire, and Xiao Yan decides to go at once. Cai Lin wants to come along, but Xiao Yan says her body cannot handle the trip and promises to deliver the pill in two years. A heated clash then breaks out at the alliance, and the commander Kui Xing is sentenced to repent in the Snake Cave for one month. The episode ends as the Soul Hall problem grows larger.
