Episode 95 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Breaking Shen Yun's Soul Mark

Xiao Yan manages to crack the soul mark Shen Yun left behind, and he gets his hands on the Three Thousand Thunders treasure of Fenglei Pavilion. His practice goes badly, though, because the skills he holds turn out to be incomplete. Shen Yun, however, had felt the blood and thunder mark he left on Xiao Yan earlier. That mark is how he finds the young man again, and he leads Hong Tianxiao and others in pursuit.

Fire Cleanses the Marks and Shen Yun Blows Himself Up

Xiao Yan uses fire to burn away the marks, then summons a demon puppet to hold back Hong Tianxiao. With the help of Tianhuo's power, his strength climbs sharply, and the Hong ancestor finds himself outmatched. Shen Yun, pushed toward despair, destroys himself rather than be taken. Hong Tianxiao escapes the fight, and the elder's death becomes the center of the pavilion's anger.

Fenglei Pavilion Vows Revenge

Fenglei Pavilion will not sit idly by while its elders are killed, and strong men are sent to surround and kill Xiao Yan. The Han side reacts quickly. An elder of the Han family says the family left the border because Xiao Yan once helped them, and that the Hong family has bullied people too often. He promises to help if needed. Han Xue greets Xiao Yan with relief when he finally reaches the family, and Xiao Yan says her kindness is something he cannot repay with hatred.

Three Elders Surround the Han House

The Fenglei Beige men move on the Han house, demanding that the family hand over the young man. They mock the Han family as cowards and say the family has no right to speak for the pavilion. Xiao Yan decides he cannot simply sit back, because everything that has happened to the Han family has happened because of him. He heads straight for the house, and the pavilion's elders make their move as he arrives.

Xiao Yan Stands With the Han Family

Three Douzong elders come to arrest him, and Elder Lei and Hong Tianxiao press in from the other side. The pavilion lays a thunder formation over the area that keeps storms over the place for nine days, and the Hong ancestor vows to make Xiao Yan pay for the descendants of his family. Xiao Yan promises to stay with the Han family until they regain their freedom. He says the Three Thousand Thunders must not be owned by outsiders, and the fight turns on a Sky Thunder Sword strike.
