Battle Through The Heavens Season 5 Episode 142

Episode 142 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

The Soul Hall Learns the Teacher Is Free

The episode opens with a report that the Soul Hall has gathered a group of strong fighters and is marching toward the Xingyun Pavilion, due to arrive within three days. The Soul Hall is angry that Xiao Yan rescued his teacher from its hands, and it orders the pavilion put on alert. The elders check the Xingyun Great Formation for any gaps, and the pavilion's disciples are recalled.

The Pavilion Prepares to Defend Its Ground

The timing is tight, because the body refinement is still underway and the defenses outside the stone tower must hold until it is finished. A disciple promises his teacher that no one will be allowed to disturb him. The pavilion's people insist that the Xingyun Pavilion is their root, the place where they poured their effort, and that they will fight to the death to protect it. Allies agree to hold back the two Black and White Tianzun, while another ally takes on the Zhai Xing old ghost.

A Last Tianzun and an Ancient Serpent

The episode closes with a plan for one remaining Tianzun. Xiao Yan says the fighter can be handled with the Green Snake Three Flower Tube and the spirit body of an ancient sky serpent, and the group agrees to leave that task to him. The fight then breaks into a confused scene with a dragon-like figure and a warning that the world is still in a strange state. The subtitles are too garbled to confirm the final exchange, so those lines are left out.
