Tian Huo enters the flammable body

Xiao Yan prepares the flammable body so Tian Huo can strengthen quickly for the coming Ice River Valley crisis. Tian Huo has to withstand a fire to take control, and the group warns him not to relax, or both his body and soul could be destroyed. He is told to take the elixir and enter, and the process appears to be going well. The next step is to endure a fire that burns out the old form and revives him, which leaves him hesitant until he is pushed to take the elixir.

Ice River's Tian She arrives to claim the body

Tian She, a peak Fight Clan elder from Ice River Valley, arrives to take the flammable body and posts a guard at the valley entrance so no one can escape. He recalls losing half a battle against a flammable body from the upper realm, and calls Tian Huo a soul body who must come out. When Tian Huo refuses, Tian She dismisses him as an ant and offers to take him back to Ice River, where there might still be a way to live. Tian Huo says no, and the Ice River side calls the Fallen God Sword a good place to be buried.

The Black Dragon formation and the space escape

The Ice River side calls for the Black Dragon Mysterious Formation, but the fight turns when a space technique lets the opponent slip through the trap. Elder Qingxuan is left behind to stop the escapee, and the Ice River elders accuse him of using a companion's life to flee. Tian Huo, now in a new body, admits his Fight Qi cannot be restored in a short time. The group decides its top priority is to help Xiao Yixian gain full control over her vicious poison body, and the two sides will fight again later.

Zhao Hei's ultimatum in Ye City

The group heads for Yanghuo Valley in Ye City, a forbidden area of the Ye family. Zhao Hei of the Black Fruit Clan arrives under orders from the Black Fire chief, threatening Ye Chong that he must cooperate or accept coffins. Ye Chong refuses to give up the valley, and Zhao Hei warns that the family's lives are in his hands and it must leave Ye City within ten days. When Xiao Yan's side calls for help, Zhao Hei realizes Tian Huo is a Dou Zun and begs to be spared, then flees.

Ye Chong opens the Yangtze Fire Ancestral Pool

Ye Chong recognizes Xiao Yan as the one from last time and calls the earlier clash a misunderstanding. Xiao Yan asks to borrow the Yangtze Fire Ancestral Pool, a forbidden area of the Ye family. Ye Chong sets the old rule aside because Xiao Yan has apologized, and says the favor is enough to break it. The episode ends with Ye Chong telling everyone to follow him, and the rest of the scene is credits.
