Episode 32 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Xun'er hands over the Ancient Clan's secret book

The episode opens on a quiet night before the final day. Under the moonlight, Xun'er passes the Ancient Clan's secret book to Xiao Yan, and the two hold each other tightly. The moment is calm, but it sets up what comes next: Xiao Yan has a new technique to train, and he must be ready for a rival who is ranked above almost everyone else in the contest.

Green lotus and crush push Liu Qing back

The match starts with Liu Qing, who is confident in his claw technique. Xiao Yan answers with the green lotus transformation, and the crowd notices that Liu Qing's Douqi seems to weaken under the heat. Liu Qing's Claw to split coffins still forces Xiao Yan to respond, but Xiao Yan's octadic crush lands and pushes Liu Qing back. Liu Qing then announces that the warm-up is over and that the real fight begins, which makes it clear this duel will not be decided by one attack.

The Mountain Splitting Spear and the Fire Lotus collide

Liu Qing draws his Mountain Splitting Spear, a weapon he rarely uses unless his opponent meets his standards. Xiao Yan unleashes his Fire Lotus, and the clash shakes the arena. Beam waves, a fire splitter and a large rock crack tear across the ground, and the onlookers can no longer tell whether this is still a battle between Dou Lings. The Great Elder steps in, uses a space lock to isolate the fighters and seals their bodies with Douqi so the surrounding disciples survive.

Both fighters fall and share the tenth place

When the dust settles, both Xiao Yan and Liu Qing are unconscious and seriously injured. The judges cannot name a winner, so the match is ruled a draw. Both fighters are placed in the top 10 and share the tenth position, which gives the contest a result that no one fully expected.

Xun'er challenges Lin Xiuya and wins

Under the rules, every newly promoted contestant can be challenged, and Xun'er steps forward to face Lin Xiuya. Lin Xiuya tries his unique abilities, but Xun'er uses the Green Astral Sword of Annihilation, and he admits defeat. Her win shows the crowd a strength they did not expect, and Xun'er says that Xiao Yan had wanted to see her charming side. The episode closes with the group heading toward the Black Corner Domain, where the next stage of the story waits.
