Episode 93 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Hong Chen's Sneak Attack and Crippling Defeat

Once Hong Chen is beaten, he admits defeat, and the onlookers can hardly believe the young man won. Xiao Yan explains that Hong Chen attacked him in secret earlier, and that he only fought back. Several of those present agree the sneak attack was wrong, which shifts the mood for a moment. Then the damage is revealed: Xiao Yan's strikes cut through all of Hong Chen's blood vessels, leaving him crippled. Hong Li, head of the Hong family, demands Xiao Yan pay with his life for what happened to his son.

Elder Shen Demands the Source of the Thunder Roars

Just as the strike is about to land, Elder Shen of Fenglei Pavilion stops it and asks a question first. He wants to know how Xiao Yan trained the Three Thousand Thunder Roars, a move he calls highly valued by the pavilion and one that no disciple of Fenglei Pavilion has ever matched. Thieves have stolen techniques and martial arts from the pavilion, and this one is among them. Xiao Yan says he obtained it by accident. Elder Shen then gives him two options: return to Fenglei Pavilion for investigation, or be killed on the spot.

Xiao Yan Refuses the Pavilion's Ultimatum

Xiao Yan refuses to go. He says he has no interest in Fenglei Pavilion and that the elder is not qualified to destroy him. Elder Shen mocks the young fighter for his arrogance and warns Han Chi that helping Xiao Yan could bring the pavilion's wrath down on the whole Han family. Han Chi is left in an impossible spot: step aside and abandon Xiao Yan, or stand firm and risk everything. The pavilion's message is clear, and the stakes rise with every line.

The Stone Field Breaks and Hong Tianxiao Is Summoned

Elder Shen brings out a Dou Zong-level control puppet, and the Hong family moves to surround Xiao Yan. The battlefield is torn apart, and a stone field that could once withstand Dou Zong-level attacks is mostly destroyed. Xiao Yan is pushed back and urged to leave before the fight gets worse. The Hong family then summons Hong Tianxiao, said to have reached five-star Dou Zong level, to deal with him. The episode closes as the Hong family ancestor arrives and tells Xiao Yan he cannot escape today.
