Thanks, regret, and a plan to return to the city

Once he is out, the group thanks one another and hopes to meet again. One of them regrets not seeing the Bodhi Star, but believes that fully refining it would let him step into the holy realm. The group decides to rest and return to the city right away. That plan falls apart when they learn their space has been sealed.

The Heavenly Demon Royal Family seals the space

Someone reports that the space has been sealed, and the subtitles name the Heavenly Demon Royal Family as the party responsible. One speaker says the royal family still acts as a lackey for another power. The rivals have prepared for this: a summoned Heavenly Emperor's shadow locks the area so that no spatial fluctuation can get out. That means no one can call for help from outside, and the group is left to face the rivals alone.

Elder Gu You arrives to deal with the young fighter

A rival invites Elder Gu You, saying the matter went wrong on his side. The reason given is that the young fighter took all the Bodhi seeds and gained the chance to comprehend under the Bodhi tree, reaching nine-turn Dou Zun strength, so only the elder can keep him in check. The young fighter is dismissed as a waste-clan kid who somehow has such fortune. Xun'er of the Gu clan is also present, described as the holder of a divine-grade bloodline and the most perfect person of the Gu clan.

A demand to come back or fight

Elder Gu You introduces himself and asks to be called a heavenly venerable. He asks the young fighter whether he will come along quietly or try to strike first. Someone notes that a half-saint-strength opponent may need fire to handle, and the allies offer to buy time. The elder's divine bloodline is noted before the episode ends, and the closing line is a push to keep going, with the group moving forward through the danger.
