Episode 141 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

The Snake Poison Flares Up

Right after the fight for the Dragon King Origin Fruit, Xiao Yan discovers that the snake poison in his body has exploded. The toxins threaten his life, and the group works to clear them out. A nine-headed giant snake appears during the process, and it turns out to be the soul of an ancient serpent that is now inside him. Xiao Yan's allies learn it is a mutated ancient celestial snake, a creature said to belong to the same level as the ancient emperors.

Xiao Yan Gets a Serpent Inside Him

Xiao Yan explains that he had accidentally entered an ancient mountain range, where he found an ancient serpent skeleton. Out of curiosity, he used the Green Snake Three Flower Boys, and the serpent's soul was summoned from the bones. The serpent is one of the strongest snake-type monsters with true royal bloodline, and the only lineages close to it are the Ancient Sky Snake and the Sky-Swallowing Python. The poison is gone now, but the snake's presence has made the danger very real.

Yao Lao Takes the Hunyuan Fruit

With the poison cleared, the focus shifts to Yao Lao. The Hunyuan Fruit is working, and his original soul energy is getting stronger, but absorbing it fully will take a long time. He asks Feng to protect him for many days while he recovers. Xiao Yan practices the Heavenly Fighting Skills brought back from the ruins, and he finds that the fighting spirit hides a memory space that opens only when the seal breaks.

The Great Heavenly Creation Palm

Inside that memory space is the fragment of a Dou Sheng strongman, who passes on the Great Heavenly Creation Palm. The technique fuses hundreds of fighting skills and emphasizes the meaning of creation. Xiao Yan promises to keep the name of the Saint of Creation in his heart. The strongman says that without a temporary inheritance from the Saint of Creation, the palm would be harder to master than climbing to the sky.

Refining Yao Lao's Body

Yao Lao's original soul energy is still insufficient, so Xiao Yan plans to refine his body. Feng contributes a ring that holds the skeleton of a four-star Dou Zun, which gives Yao Lao a Dou Zun body and brings the Fighting Saint Arm into play. Xiao Yan says his brother Cheng has the Fighting Saint Arm. The team moves to a stone tower, where the refinement and fusion take several days, and the Nebula Pavilion puts its defenses on alert to keep anyone from disturbing them.

The Final Fusion and the Coming Fight

As the process nears its end, Yao Lao tells Xiao Yan that the final fusion is the only hope he has of recovering. Xiao Yan promises that he will not let his teacher's revival go unfinished. The exchange about the teacher and the student is partly garbled, so the details of their final bond are left out. The episode closes with the group gearing up to fight the rival Xingyu Court.
