Episode 89 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

How Space Wormholes Work

The episode opens by explaining the space wormhole, a passage created by extraordinary space power that connects two spaces so that long distances can be covered quickly. Only a strong Dou Zun can create one, and wormholes have become an important means of crossing the Douqi Continent. Xiao Yan and his companions are still on the road, impatient and hungry, and they wonder how long Tianya City will take to reach. Xinlan then shares a map of Zhongzhou recorded by her family, which sets up a talk about the continent's great powers.

Zhongzhou's Structure of Power

Xinlan explains that Zhongzhou's human power is roughly divided into one palace, one tower, two sects, three valleys and four squares. The Soul Palace is the most feared, and even Danta was afraid of it, so Xiao Yan is urged to be patient. The two sects are the Tianming Sect and the Hua Sect, and the three valleys are Glacier Valley, Shadow Valley and Propagation Valley. The four squares form the Sifang Pavilion, made up of Xingyun, Wanjian, Huangquan and Fenglei Pavilions. Fenglei Pavilion is said to stand tall in the four corners and is the strongest in Zhongzhou, so people are told not to provoke it.

Tianya City Is Crowded

Tianya City is packed with spaceships, and travelers wait in line to enter. The newcomer Xiao Yan admits he does not know the rules, and the gatekeeper explains that only those above Dou Huang have priority entry. The space door is temporarily closed for repairs, and the Luo family says it has invited powerful Dou Sect figures to fix the wormhole, with huge rewards afterward. The wait could last several days, and the crowd begins to scatter as the news spreads.

The Luo Family's Clash

Trouble breaks out when the Luo family's eldest young lady, relying on her family status, causes a scene and is struck. The Luo family demands that whoever hurt her answer for it, and her grandfather, the Luo family's ancestor, is said to be equivalent to a Five Star Douzong. He comes to Tianya City alone, and the family vows to act against anyone who humiliated its members. The clash shows how much the Luo family's control of the space wormhole matters in the city.

Repairing the Wormhole and a Gift

Luo Cheng asks for help with the repair, and the Han family's second elders join in with a formation platform for controlling space wormholes. Several Dou Zong strongmen are needed, and the team injects space power into the array while eight formations are completed. One elder warns that the magic circle is unbalanced and that no one can relax. Luo Cheng first offers a seventh-level magic box to the woman who helps, but the Luo family only has a level six box, which is still useful as a retention tool. Once the repair succeeds, Luo Cheng gives Xiao Yan a starship that can pass smoothly through wormholes, stocked with medicinal ingredients, and Xiao Yan says he will leave for Zhongzhou immediately.
