Lord Tianhuo Strikes a Deal for a New Body

Xiao Yan first wanted to take a young body, but that plan failed and Lord Tianhuo's soul was about to vanish. Xiao Yan felt sympathy because his situation echoed that of his own teacher, so he agreed to rebuild a body together. In return, Lord Tianhuo serves as Xiao Yan's bodyguard for a year with Eight Star Douzong strength. With that protection, Xiao Yan revives the Tianfen Qi Refining Tower before his trip to Zhongzhou.

Han Feng Gathers Enemies of Canaan Academy

Han Feng has called many powerful figures together to eradicate Canaan Academy. Sect Master Mo and Old Man Yingshan arrive, and the Black Point region is full of old grudges. The senior demon of Demon Flame Valley was killed by Canaan College, leaving the valley badly weakened and unable to hold the others back. The crowd concludes that no single faction can beat the Xiao clan and Canaan alone, so they must unite.

The Alliance Collapses Before It Begins

Han Feng proposes the alliance and takes the leadership seat, but nobody fully trusts him. Sect Master Mo and Old Man Yingshan decide to side with Demon Flame Valley instead. Xiao Yan arrives and says his only targets are Han Feng and Demon Flame Valley, while anyone not on their side can walk away. Mo's son has been poisoned, and Mo demands an antidote before he will trust Xiao Yan, who refuses to hand it over until the dispute is settled. The three battle sects cannot match Xiao Yan's group, and Mo and Yingshan walk away without helping.

Protector Xuan Springs the Soul Devouring Trap

Protector Xuan of the Soul Palace brings a Ten Thousand Soul Devouring Formation filled with evil spirits to catch Xiao Yan. Xiao Yan counters with the Fallen Heart Flame, which he says is the natural enemy of souls, and the formation's energy starts flowing into Lord Tianhuo. Tianhuo warns that he must be fed soul power for ten days in a row. The Protector leaves, convinced the evil spirit will not come back.

Han Feng Faces the Soul Palace Alone

The episode closes on a hostile exchange. Han Feng is accused of being a waste and is told to hand over his soul, while Soul Palace members are said to deserve death. Xiao Yan tells the group he will settle matters with Han Feng directly, and the fight is still unresolved as the episode ends.
