The Bodhi Liquid Plot Falls Apart

Su Qian, the Medicine Goddess and Zi Yan hold back Mo Tianxing and Han Feng while Xiao Yan forms the three-colored Lotus of God's Anger. The attack forces Mo Tianxing to give up, and Han Feng leaves after making threats, seeing no chance of winning. The crisis seems over, but Yingshan had hidden soul power inside the Bodhi Liquid and was waiting for a chance to seize it. Xiao Yan notices the trick and destroys the plot.

Back in the Inner Building

Xiao Yan returns to the Inner Building of Jianan Academy with Zi Yan, and the Great Elder greets him after an absence of two years. At the Panmen headquarters, a guard challenges the unfamiliar visitor for not wearing a Panmen uniform. Elder Wu and the Panmen chief are ready to teach him a lesson, until he is recognized as the head of the sect that founded Panmen. Panmen now holds much of the power in the Inner Building, with half of the top 50 on the Ranking List among its members.

A Demon Poison and a Missing Cure

Xiao Yan explains that he is poisoned by the Demon Poison Fleck that was placed in his body by an enemy, Xie Biyan. Only a Battle God master can eliminate it, and the dean of the academy, who has reached Combat God, has been traveling the world. Elders Qian and Bai could help if they appear, but they rarely do. Xiao Yan decides to look for another Strange Fire instead, and he plans to go to the continent to search for it.

Ye Xinlan Offers a Strange Fire Clue

Ye Xinlan, a talented young pill maker who can already craft level four pills, overhears the plan. She offers a clue about Strange Fire in exchange for help keeping her family's position as Pill Pagoda elder. She names the Three Thousand Ember Flame, ninth on the Strange Fire list, which is said to be kept inside the Pill Pagoda. The Pill Pagoda is strictly guarded, and it has begun looking for outsiders who can conquer it.

The Pill Conference and a Trapped Monster

The Pill Pagoda holds a great Pill Conference in two years, and the top ten finishers gain rewards and a chance to claim the Three Thousand Embers. Xiao Yan thanks Ye Xinlan for the hint and promises to help her family in return, though he first has to deal with the Energy Training Tower and plan more Fallen Heart Flame intake. Meanwhile, a monster corpse without a monster core is examined, and its trapped consciousness strikes back, draining soul power. Someone absorbs the leftover aura, and the episode ends with news that Fang Yan and others were killed, which reaches Moyan Valley.
