Episode 76 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Bodhi Liquid Draws an Enemy

Before the auction, Xiao Yan obtains Bodhi Liquid at the Thousand Herbs Workshop. The purchase offends Qi Shan, the chief pharmacist of the Black Emperor Sect, and Xiao Yan, who wants to avoid trouble, keeps a low profile while he waits for the auction to begin. The enemies in the shadows are already watching, and the calm does not last long.

Kui Sha Demands a Reckoning

Kui Sha, leader of the Kui Lang Gang, arrives at the Black Emperor Pavilion to settle a score. Xiao Yan had injured members of the Ilmuang Gang at the city gate, and Kui Sha says that his nephew was the one whose arm was broken. The confrontation nearly turns violent, with threats of a fight and talk of how strong the newcomer really is. Then Mo Ya, the Young Clan Leader and manager of the Black Emperor Pavilion, steps in, apologizes, and asks everyone to set the matter aside.

Mo Yan Valley's Plan for the Bodhi Fluid

While the city buzzes, a Mo Yan Valley agent reports to his leaders. Many established forces from the Blackhorn Field have gathered in Black Emperor City, all eager to win the Bodhi Body Fluid. The order from the Hall Master is clear: the Bodhi Fluid must be obtained at any cost. The agents also plan to make sure that Xiao Men and Canaan Academy, which sent their own experts, do not survive in the city. The scene shows that Xiao Yan is now a target for more than just one gang.

A Top-Grade Pill Under Watchful Eyes

The next day, Mo Ya apologizes and offers to show Xiao Yan around the city, but Xiao Yan stays in his room to refine a pill. He has been working for two days, and onlookers doubt that the process will ever finish. When the pill finally takes shape, it moves more strongly than a seventh-grade elixir, and it is described as a rare top-grade potion. Watchers say even Qi Shan could not make a pill like it, and the attention draws in powerful people from every side.

Xiao Li Steps In

The pill's energy draws a Battle Sect woman and her companions toward Xiao Yan's room. Xiao Li, leader of the Xiao clan, recognizes the situation and asks the intruders to step back, insisting that no one should interfere with the refining. The episode ends with the Xiao clan staring at a powerful young female cultivator nobody in the Black Horn Domain seems to know.
