A Valley Occupied by a Stranger

Xiao Yan returns to the old place and finds it has been taken over by a mysterious force. In the middle of a fierce fight, Ziyan clashes with a gray-robed man, and Xiao Yan discovers that the powerhouse is his old friend, the Fairy Doctor. She chooses to leave rather than recognize him. Xiao Yan's pursuit comes to nothing, so he returns to the valley to make final preparations for his advance to Dou Huang.

Ziyan's Pill Goes Wrong

Ziyan and Queen Medusa make a scene at the Mountain of Warcraft while seizing treasures of heaven and earth, and Ziyan gathers enough energy to open a path for her advance. A Huangji Pill proves very powerful, but Ziyan's breathing turns unstable and causes an explosion. Xiao Yan puts the fire out in time, and admits that he was greedy and could not bear to leave the last potion behind.

Xiao Yan Delivers the Elixir

Xiao Yan says the alchemy has taken a month, and he plans to send the finished elixir before returning to closed-door training. He estimates that moving from the Fighting King stage to Dou Huang will take at least half a year, or even a year. He tells his teacher to wait for him, promising he will grow stronger and save his teacher and father.

He Qian's Jade Bottle Standoff

In Qingshan City, Uncle Kagan is confronted by He Qian, head of the He family, who says the jade bottle could seriously injure his son-in-law and kill two powerful members of the family. Kagan says he found it by chance while hunting magical beasts, but He Qian does not believe him and gives him a final chance to talk. An arrow is shot, and Xiao Yan steps in, telling the He family that the matter is not theirs to settle.

The He Family Pledges Loyalty

When He Qian learns that the young man is the leader of the Flame Alliance, his attitude shifts completely. He says the He family had received an invitation from the Flame Alliance and had already decided to join. He promises loyalty and says a peak Dou Wang will not be a problem for the family in the future. He also gives Kagan healing pills, and the standoff ends with the He family accepting the new leader.

Closed-Door Training Begins

Xiao Yan notes that Ziyan's breathing is growing more and more unstable, and that her fighting spirit keeps overflowing. Ziyan says she will also hold closed-door training, and Xiao Yan agrees that time is running out. He leaves Ziyan in his care before going into seclusion. The episode closes on the Hall of Souls caption.
