Episode 214 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

The Alliance Fails at the Ancient Hell

Xiao Yan transforms into a body of destruction fire, and six colors of flame join his strength. Lei Ying of the Thunder Clan is impressed by the power on display. The alliance fails, though, as the Soul Clan tears apart the void and reaches the ancient hell. Gu Yuan confronts Hun Tian Di directly, and the two clash in a battle that could decide the fate of the ancient world.

Gu Yang Is Exposed

While the ancient clans fight at the front, Xiao Yan and Xun'er search the ancient world for the traitor. Gu Yang is revealed as the Bone Sheep Elder, who admits he was forcibly fused with Nothingness by a lord long ago and has been waiting for this day. He tries to flee with the ancient jade, and Xiao Yan goes after him.

The Ancient Jade Is Split

The ancient jade is divided into eight pieces, and the Hun Clan needs seven of them to threaten the ancient clans. Gu Yuan's position is that the ancient clans must form an alliance to fight the Hun people. The ancient clans believe the last piece is with Xiao Yan, which makes him a key target for the rest of the story.

A Plan to Bring Back Xiao Xuan

The episode closes with a question about whether the ancient clans can recover their strongest fighter. Gu Yuan says he may know a way to resurrect Xiao Xuan from a remnant soul in the third eye, although it would require sending the remnant back into the Heavenly Tomb. Xiao Yan thanks Gu Yuan for the possibility, and the plan is left open as the battle continues.
