Episode 210 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

The Yao Elders Sacrifice Themselves

The Yao Clan is in a desperate situation of life and death. Yaodan, a lineage of the Cunyao clan, leads the elders to self-destruct and tears apart the space blockade. The explosion opens a path that lets Xiao Yan help the orphans of the Medicine Clan break out of the siege. The sacrifice keeps the Yao bloodline hope alive, but it leaves the survivors with a heavy loss.

Xiao Yan Breaks Through the Barrier

On the way out, Xiao Yan merges different fires into an eight-color fire lotus and blasts the barrier. The attack buys time by temporarily pushing back the pursuers, and Xiao Yan escapes with a Yao Clan orphan. The Spirit Swallowing army quickly regroups and gives chase, so the escape is far from safe.

The Hun Clan Plots Its Next Move

Behind the lines, the Hun Clan leaders discuss what the attack has accomplished. They agree that the Yao bloodline could keep their soul clan alive for another thousand years, and they plan to use it to advance a clan leader toward Dou Di level. Their signal goes out to Hun Sha and Hun Tu, who are stationed outside, with orders to intercept Xiao Yan. The scheme shows that the siege was never only about the Yao Clan.

Xiao Yan Is Intercepted by Hun Sha

Hun Sha, one of the four demon saints of the Hun Clan, arrives with the strength of a Seven Star Fighting Saint. He calls Xiao Yan out by name and mocks him for defeating Hun Yan. Hun Sha tries to force Xiao Yan to hand over the Tuoshe Ancient Emperor Jade and the ninth-grade Xuandan. Xiao Yan refuses, and the fight turns into a battle of spatial techniques that closes the episode.
