Battle Through The Heavens Season 5 Episode 208

Episode 208 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Xiao Yan Wins the Ninth-Grade Xuandan Championship

The Pharmacopoeia reaches its peak as Xiao Yan successfully practices the ninth-grade Xuandan and wins the championship. The title of No. 1 Alchemist is on the line, and his merit places him at the summit of the event. With that success, Xiao Yan finally helps Yao Chen, and the long stay in the courtyard tied to the Medicine Clan family monument comes to an end. For a moment everyone is happy, and the clan celebrates.

Hun Xuzi Turns Hostile and Mocks the Medicine Clan

The celebration breaks when Hun Xuzi suddenly grows angry and demands the right words from the Medicine Clan. He mocks the clan, saying it is about to die and will soon be gone. He then tells the crowd that the clan thinks itself superior, when in the eyes of the Hun Clan it is just a stepping stone for the Hun rise. Hun Xuzi's side moves to blockade the space, and the clan's leaders are told to prepare for what comes next.

Nothingness Swallows the Clan's Protective Formation

Nothingness drifts through the area, a small amount that even strong motivation cannot resist. A strange fire barrier can isolate it for a short time, but the clan's protective formation, the Hua Tianyao Formation, has never been activated this way before. It was created long ago to protect the clan, and it is stronger than most formations. Even so, the nothingness keeps pressing against it, and clan members plead with the team leader to surrender. Others refuse to lose to the leader of the Hun Clan, and elders are swallowed one by one, left like puppets with no complete breath or consciousness.

Xiao Yan Is Urged to Escape as the Battle Ends

Xiao Yan is warned not to be impulsive, and he is urged to escape because the Heavenly Mansion Alliance cannot live without him. A voice calls for reinforcements and asks Lord Nothingness whether he is okay. Another voice says the war is over and that the rest will be left to them. The attackers insist that no one is allowed to be left alive, and the episode ends on that threat.
