Inside the pearl's space, countless dragon souls are held prisoner. Xiao Yan releases cleansing demonic fire, and the wrongly held souls begin to be freed. The king's huge dragon-shaped soul coils around a stone pillar, and a thunderbolt strikes Xiao Yan's tiny soul body. The king gloats that Xiao Yan is now trapped in his soul space and will never leave.

The Taixu Ancient Dragon Soul-and-Body Debate

The king brags about his newly perfected body and asks whether Xiao Yan knows the Taixu Ancient Dragon, since in his view the body is the soul and the soul is the body. Taunts about soul-hiding fly back and forth. He then adds a theft lock to Xiao Yan's remnant soul and vows to destroy the soul space and turn it into tempered combat experience. The trap is now a deliberate attempt to consume Xiao Yan's soul.

The beat turns the fight into a promise, but it also shows that the Hun Clan is watching.

Hun Clan Orders Turn Toward Xiao Yan

A group discusses a chess piece, saying that no matter how inconspicuous a piece is, it is indispensable to the chessboard. Their goal is not only one person or thing, and they talk about what happens if that kid threatens their taboo. A clan leader gives instructions to find Xiao Yan and bring him back, and a warning follows that this is his last chance. The remnant is taken back for refining, and the report says it went well.

Void Thunder Pond Rebuilds the Northern King Puppet

The Northern King puppet is taken to the Void Thunder Pond for training, where countless black magic thunders gather in the depths. The puppet is said to be invincible with demonic fire, and the thunder can no longer hurt it. The episode closes with a single thunder that only a ninth-grade golden elixir room can attract, called the Nine Hanging Golden Thunder.
