Hun Tiandi Speeds Up His Plan

After the alliance's big win spreads across the Central Plains, Xiao Yan refuses to let victory go to his head and throws himself into cultivation to prepare for the Hun Clan that stands behind the Hall of Souls. Clan Chief Hun Tiandi, trying to fulfill a thousand-year plan, decides to accelerate it, and the peace is soon shattered.

Huang Tian Strikes the Yellow Springs

Huang Tian leads his tribe in a powerful attack on the Nine Quiet Yellow Springs, intending to capture Cai Lin. Xiao Yan arrives just in time and repels him with incredible force. Xiao Yan thanks Yao Ming for keeping his promise to protect Cai Lin, and says that from now on the matter is left to him.

Clash of the Phoenix Wings

Huang Tian accuses Xiao Yan of capturing his tribal elders and perfecting the Demon Phoenix wings, and vows no mercy for anyone who offends his tribe. He complains that Xiao Yan balanced him using the tribal wings, and the two trade blows with the Phoenix Demon Step, Yellow Spring Palm and Fire Condensation Finger. Huang Tian then reveals the true form of the Heaven Demon Phoenix, and a Yellow Spring Divine Fury technique follows.

Cai Lin Returns Far Stronger

Cai Lin emerges from closed-door cultivation far stronger, and explains that he found his tribe's ancestral nest deep in the Yellow Spring. He let the remains of their souls attach to his body, which earned him the inheritance of the Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python and his evolution into the Nine-Colored form. The souls follow his will without consciousness of their own, and he hopes to improve them someday.

Huang Tian's Defeat Brings a Warning

Huang Tian admits defeat and says they will meet again, but a companion insists the matter cannot simply be forgotten. Huang Tian then links Xiao Yan's close ties with the new Dragon Emperor of the Ancient Void Dragon clan to why he was drawn away from the Central Plains, and asks what has happened to Zi Yan. He mocks Xiao Yan for believing the Ancient Void Dragon clan is easy to unite.

Xiao Yan Charges Off Again

Xiao Yan leaves the rest to Yao Ming and rushes off, shouting that the Dragon Emperor must prepare to die. The episode closes on that charge, leaving the fate of the Ancient Void Dragon clan uncertain.
