Battle Through The Heavens Season 5 Episode 194

Episode 194 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Hun Miesheng Tries to Take the Flame

Hun Miesheng unleashes the hidden power of his Five Star Dou Sheng, determined to snatch the Demonic Flame essence from Xiao Yan's hands. When he summons the Soul Demon Elder, the Six Star Dou Sheng, the Ancestor of the Dan Tower, steps in and exposes the truth: the Purifying Lotus Demonic Flame let itself be sealed on purpose, forcing the flame to reveal itself. The prize was never the whole story.

The Holy Demon Takes Over Xiao Yan's Body

In a fit of rage, the Purifying Lotus Holy Demon summons the Ancient Heaven Purifying Formation, meant to purify and destroy everyone present. At the critical moment he possesses Xiao Yan's body and saves the group. Onlookers are stunned, since he was once considered the greatest expert, the one closest to Dou Di's abilities. He seems to have no soul of his own, only a residual trace.

The Old Master and the Sealed Demon Saint

The Holy Demon and the old man who created the Ancient Heaven Refining Formation trade bitter insults. The old man admits he once considered erasing the Demon's memory, but could not do it, so he sealed him away instead, hoping his anger would fade. Thousands of years of confinement only deepened the hatred, so the old man activates the formation's Separation. The Demon Saint begs him to stop, saying that without his memories it is the same as being killed.

A Flame Cleansed, a Passage Collapsed

With the Demon Saint's memories gone, the Demonic Flame essence looks pure, as if newly born. The spatial passage has collapsed, and the group admits they probably cannot break out of the room with their current strength. They will refine and absorb the flame here, with odds below fifty percent but no other choice. Carrying the essence out would draw greedy people, even if they sought shelter with the Ancient Clan.

Heavenly Mansion Alliance Comes Up Empty

Back outside, the Heavenly Mansion Alliance cannot pinpoint the pair, because the Purifying Lotus Holy Demon's seal hides their location. An elder from the Gu clan is told not to worry, since Xun'er is with Xiao Yan and nothing will happen to them. Another speaker says the Ancient Clan has suffered a heavy loss over just two young people, and asks whether it really had to go this far. The Gu elder promises to report everything to the Ancient Clan right away.

Refining the Demonic Flame Together

The Great Array of Fire-Cold dampens the Demon Fire to a degree, so refining can begin. Xiao Yan says he has struggled for years to reach this moment and a little pain will not stop him, then calls on the Holy Book of Fire. Xun'er warns that at this speed he will surely die, and insists she is here to help. Together, they will perfect it.
