Battle Through The Heavens Season 5 Episode 191

Episode 191 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Clan Markings Awaken an Ancestor

Xiao Yan activates the clan markings, and the memories of a fire slave wielding a giant axe awaken. The slave turns out to be Xiao Chen, one of the ancestors of the Xiao family. The revelation gives Xiao Yan a direct link to his clan's past.

Pushing Deeper Into the Mirror Lotus Flame

The group advances into the territory of the Mirror Lotus Demon Flame, but the illusion of the demonic fire returns and wears on their minds. Xiao Yan encourages the others to work together, and they overcome their inner demons to escape the illusion. The relief is short-lived, because the true Pure Lotus Demon Flame then descends with ten Battle Saint flame slaves.

Dividing the Fight

An ally proposes that everyone with the strength of a four-star Dou Sheng or higher act together to solve the Pure Lotus Demon Flame, leaving the remaining fighters to handle the fire slaves. Xiao Chen says he cannot join the siege, because getting close would weaken the seal and let the flame take control of him. He insists the younger generation handle the matter, and says Xiao Yan is as responsible as he was in his own time.

A Hard-Fought Battle

The fight begins with the fire slaves. The group uses Great Compassion Hand and Great Creation Palm to break their attacks, and a fire slave in the late three-star Dou Sheng realm and a two-star Dou Sheng early-stage slave are targeted first. The flames stop feeding the slaves' strength, and Xiao Yan briefly controls one of the stoves. The Pure Lotus Demon Flame then unleashes its Eight Desolate Destruction Flame, but it is not enough to stop the seal from forming.

The Sealing Begins

The flame, which says it has endured centuries of imprisonment, decides to self-destruct rather than yield. Xiao Yan urges the group to use Heavenly Fire and transform into the origin, so the seal can finally be completed. The episode closes with the Heavenly Net Demon Sealing Formation being set up around the flame.
