The Alliance Goes on the Offensive

The Soul Palace has been hitting important Alliance cities again and again, leaving the Heavenly Mansion Alliance in chaos. Its chief minister decides the alliance can no longer sit back and defend, and will attack a Soul Palace branch directly. Xiao Yan, who has just helped Zi Yan settle internal strife within the Taixu Ancient Dragon Clan, returns in time and volunteers to attack the Human Palace.

Yao Chen Breaks Through

After a short rest, Yao Chen reaches one-star Dou Sheng, using Demon Saint essence blood that Xiao Yan brought back. He then leads Xiao Yan and Zi Yan toward the Human Palace. The group is quickly met by Soul Palace fighters who see them as trespassers and vow to crush them on their own ground.

A Brutal Clash in the Soul Palace

The Soul Palace calls on its Heavenly Venerables to capture the intruders, and the fighting spreads across the grounds. One enemy boasts that the years of restraint are finally over, while Xiao Yan and his allies push through a wave of attacks, including soul-based strikes that target the mind as well as the body.

The Five-Colored Destruction Fire Scythe

As the battle tightens, an enemy reveals a starfish eye that can unleash a true Five-Colored Destruction Fire Scythe. An enemy then offers to join forces with Xiao Yan, but he refuses, saying his feud with the Soul Palace is irreconcilable. The enemy's own men warn that Xiao Yan's strange fire could even break a peerless sword.

A Final Threat From the Soul Hall

The episode closes with Yellow Springs Gaze and other soul attacks aimed at the group, and a Deputy Hall Master of the Soul Hall turns his attention to Xiao Yan. That closing threat sets up the next confrontation.
