Soul Hall's failed mission brings punishment

Soul Jade and Bone Ghost return from the Ancient Bodhi Tree empty-handed, and the Soul Hall master, Hun Miesheng, punishes them for the failure. Bone Ghost does not let the setback end there. He joins forces with the Heavenly Underworld Sect and other powers to launch a full-scale retaliation against the Starfall Pavilion, turning a lost treasure hunt into a direct war.

Yao Chen's exhaustion and Han Feng's fate

Back at the pavilion, Yao Chen ignores his own fatigue to refine a Bodhi Pill that helps Xiao Yan refine the Bodhi Heart. At the same time, Xiao Yan takes the soul of Yao Chen's disciple, Han Feng, and hands it over to his teacher. Han Feng shows no remorse. Yao Chen, utterly disappointed, crushes Han Feng's soul with his own hands and ends their ill-fated bond.

The enemy breaches the Astral Array

Alarms ring out as the enemy attacks the Astral Array. Disciples rush to the main hall and take their positions on the front lines, and every elder is called into battle. The attackers bring nearly half of their force at Dou Zun rank, plus a high-level demigod, the Heavenly Nether Demon, and the full strength of the Mohe Alliance. The pavilion is clearly outnumbered.

Tian Ming confronts Yao Chen

The old demon Tian Ming faces Yao Chen and says the Starfall Pavilion has repeatedly thwarted the plans of his Heavenly Underworld Sect, so he will wipe it out personally. He admits the coalition alone may not destroy the pavilion, but insists he would not be standing here without absolute certainty. Soul Hall's side then demands that the pavilion be destroyed and Xiao Yan handed over, promising to leave the pavilion a whole corpse if it complies. The pavilion refuses, and the fight begins.

The Sect Protection Array falls

The Sect Protection Array becomes the turning point. The enemy studies its core, and Yao Chen says he will deal with the two strongest attackers while others hold off the Three Venerables. An enemy declares that Yao Chen will not last long. The Lock of Ten Thousand Souls is brought out, the formation fails, and the great formation is broken. Brother Chen, Senior Sister Qingluan and Venerable Heavenly Fire are called on to hold the line.

Xiao Yan comes out of seclusion

As the battle peaks, the disciples recognize the arrival of the young master. Dou Sheng confirms that Xiao Yan has emerged from seclusion, and the pavilion's defense gets a fighter it has been missing.
