Battle Through The Heavens Season 5 Episode 152

Episode 152 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Xiao Yan Enters the First Layer of the Heavenly Tomb

The Heavenly Tomb is described as the resting place of the strongest figures of the ancient world, and Xiao Yan hopes to meet his clan ancestor Xiao Xuan there and gain an opportunity of his own. The energy inside is thicker than expected, and the tomb is vast. The first layer is the safest, but each level deeper is more dangerous and offers greater rewards. The energy bodies here are said to lurk inside energy objects and strike when someone draws near, and the stronger ones deeper in may keep their wisdom.

Energy Boxes and a Friendly Race

His companions find energy boxes that can be absorbed through the palm while running a bow technique, and the process is easier than taking a pill. The box they hold is only second grade. Deeper in, a ninth-grade box may be possible, though the energy bodies there grow stronger too. A girl in the group proposes a contest: whoever collects more boxes before reaching the second-layer entrance wins. After some back and forth, the young man agrees, and the two set off to compete.

A Warning to Break Through First

A voice points out that the first-layer energy bodies pose no real threat and give little cultivation benefit, so the group should move on to the second layer. Another companion notes that the young man is close to breaking through to six-star Dou Zun. He suggests absorbing a six-star energy core first, then advancing before going deeper. The young man accepts the advice.

Unseen Watchers Target the Gu Divine Bloodline

Someone says there is no point in hiding, and the speakers reveal they have sensed a Gu clan member with divine bloodline. They discuss killing her first to remove a hidden threat to their own clan, then dealing with the boy. One remarks that he is curious what the Gu clan would do if the boy came to harm. The last lines are too fragmented to confirm what happens next, so the threat stays open when the episode ends.
