Episode 100 Full Recap (Spoilers)

Spoiler warning: this recap covers the whole episode.

Xiao Yan Breaks the Sonic Trap on Tianshan Terrace

Xiao Yan and Nalan Yanran reach Tianshan Terrace, where four young strong men from the Sifang Pavilion have been waiting. Their Gold Devouring Rat sound attack hits the brain directly, so covering the ears does not help. Xiao Yan realizes that he has to use his head rather than force his way through. Under the guidance of a psychic white fox, the pair make it through the maze, and the Jin Gu of the Gold Devouring Rat Clan admires Xiao Yan's skill as an alchemist.

Rivals From Across Zhongzhou Clear the Trials

One after another, the pavilions send their best students through the challenge. Feng Qing'er of Fenglei Pavilion passes with her mastery of Three Thousand Thunders, while Tang Ying of Wanjiange Pavilion breaks through and Wang Chen of Huang Quan Pavilion uses a dark fighting spirit. Mu Qingluan of Xinyunge is praised as a leader among the younger generation. Xiao Yan's speed and calm draw attention, and the crowd wonders how far he can go.

Senior Jingshi's Fire Poison Becomes the Deal

Senior Jingshi is injured by a fire poison that has reached his bone marrow. Xiao Yan says he is not an ordinary pharmacist and offers to remove the Tianshan fire poison, though the method is dangerous and depends on whether he can reach Douzong. The Blood Pool sits in the crater at the top of Mount the Heavenly Tomb, where the energy is the purest in the whole range. It helps people break through, but only those at the peak of Dou Huang can gain much from it, and Xiao Yan agrees to the trade.

Mu Qingluan Points Xiao Yan Toward the Conference

Mu Qingluan explains that the Sifang Pavilion conference is three months away, held at Fenglei Teng Pavilion, and that Xingyun Pavilion will attend with its own teacher. Xiao Yan asks whether Venerable Feng is her teacher and says his own master sent him to find Senior Feng. She hints that Feng travels too often to find easily, but says he can look for him at the conference. She also warns Xiao Yan that the Fenglei Pavilion master will be there, and that he could find his own death.
