The Bai Family Confronts Jing Yun

The episode opens with an emotional moment as someone is urged to stop crying and remember that their deceased parents would not want to see them suffering. The situation quickly turns toward the Bai family, with Jing Yun becoming the target of their attempt to capture him. Xuanqi arrives at a familiar place where she expects to find someone who is feeling troubled. However, she is surprised to discover Jing Yun there as well. The confrontation brings up the truth about Zhan Zuyun, who killed Zhan Zutian to seize the position of heir before Jing Yun eventually killed him. The Bai family accuses Jing Yun of repeatedly opposing them and offending the Heavenly Sovereign Lingxia, declaring that his actions deserve punishment.

Xuanqi Refuses to Return to the Bai Family

When the Bai family moves to capture Jing Yun, Xuanqi unexpectedly steps forward and declares that nobody is allowed to touch him. Her decision shocks her brother, who questions why she would protect someone considered an enemy of the Bai family. Xuanqi makes it clear that she does not want to return home. She also reveals that she has no intention of marrying Yuwen Shu, despite repeated pressure from her family. Her brother tries to persuade her to return, promising to seek forgiveness from their father and cancel the marriage arrangement. However, Xuanqi refuses to accept promises that have repeatedly ignored her feelings. She even reminds him of their past relationship and asks him to let her go. Jing Yun tells her not to humiliate herself by begging, making it clear that he will not allow the Bai family to hurt her.

Jing Yun Faces the Holy King Warriors

The argument escalates when Xuanqi's brother orders his people to capture everyone and take them home. A powerful Holy King warrior then steps forward to confront Jing Yun, questioning how someone who appears to be only a third-rate saint can challenge so many Holy King experts. Jing Yun demonstrates that his strength is far greater than expected. Even an Eighth-Rank Holy King General struggles against him. The warrior launches an attack using Wild Waves Like Swords, but Jing Yun remains confident in his abilities. As the confrontation continues, Xuanqi's brother finds himself in danger and calls for help. Xuanqi faces another difficult choice: whether to save someone connected to the family that has repeatedly disregarded her wishes. Despite everything, she admits that the Bai family once showed her kindness and protection. She also considers her brother, who has always treated her as family. Unable to abandon her conscience, she decides to save him.

Xuanqi Finally Breaks Away From Her Family

After the confrontation, Xuanqi's brother continues pressuring her to return home. He reminds her that the marriage ceremony with Yuwen Shu is supposed to take place on the same day and that important figures from the Hongmeng Divine Kingdom, including Heavenly Sovereign Lingxia, will witness the occasion. He argues that her absence could damage the Bai family's reputation and ruin the marriage arrangements. Xuanqi rejects this reasoning, questioning whether protecting the family's reputation means sacrificing her own happiness. Jing Yun also warns that if the family continues using kindness as an excuse to force her, they will not get another chance to survive. Finally, Xuanqi tells her brother to go home and leave her alone. Once he leaves, she admits that she once held onto hope for her family, but now feels that she has no relatives left in the world. Jing Yun responds that she has him and that he considers her family.

The Hongmeng Divine Sword Reveals a Hidden Connection

The conversation takes a surprising turn when Jing Yun reveals the Hongmeng Divine Sword. Xuanqi immediately recognizes its significance, questioning how he possesses a sword belonging to the Supreme Eastern Hongmeng Kingdom. She also wants to understand the connection between Jing Yun's ancestor, the Great God Jingyan, and Supreme Hongmeng. Xuanqi explains that her biological father once told her that Jingyan was an orphan before receiving the protection of Hongmeng the Great. Her parents also repeatedly warned her never to investigate the cause of the ancestors' deaths, claiming that doing so could bring an even greater disaster. Jing Yun then reveals a shocking truth: Great God Jingyan actually died at the hands of Heavenly Sovereign Lingxia, with the Bai family's Bai Qi acting as an accomplice. Although Xuanqi remains disappointed with the Bai family and acknowledges their past kindness, she refuses to accept such a serious accusation without proof. Jing Yun insists that he is not making up the story. He reveals that he is the reincarnation of the Great Hongmeng and promises to explain everything so that she can understand the truth behind his identity and the sword.
